Talking Point - Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Note: This entire article was in fact created by AI based on several prompts. Despite having left the initial copy intact, I ran certain prompts multiple times to create better results. I also combined multiple outputs from two separate AI programs (copy.ai and Jasper) to produce the final article. Maybe not perfect, but impressive nonetheless.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a technology that's becoming more common in our everyday lives. It can be used to make our lives easier, and it's also being used to help us make better decisions, solve problems, and even predict the future.
In this article, we'll cover some of the ways you might use AI in your own life or career. We'll also talk about the positive and negative aspects of AI so you can decide if it's right for your needs.
What is AI?
Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that focuses on creating machines capable of learning how to solve problems on their own—without any human intervention or guidance. The goal is to create machines that are capable of learning from experience and understanding complex concepts in order to complete tasks like solving math problems, winning at poker, driving cars or drones through busy cities, identifying diseases based on symptoms alone and more!
Why should I care about AI?
AI has already been adapted by many companies and industries around the world as part of their daily business operations. For example:
Amazon uses machine learning algorithms to automatically generate product recommendations based on customer preferences;
Netflix uses machine learning algorithms to recommend movies based on previous selections;
Google uses AI for search bar predictive text;
Facebook News Feed uses AI to personalize content based on your likes and interests;
AI is used by doctors to diagnose patients faster than humans can do so on their own;
AI is used to predict which people are likely going to get divorced based on their social media behavior;
AI is used by financial institutions to analyze transaction data in order to detect fraud or money laundering schemes;
Whether we know it or not, AI is quietly working in the background, impacting our lives every single day.
How is AI being used in the NFT industry?
AI has been used in the NFT industry since the beginning. It was initially used to create the avatars that would serve as the basis for augmented reality games and social media platforms. However, as time went on, AI became increasingly sophisticated and began to be used to help users navigate through these platforms.
AI is a powerful tool for the NFT industry. It can be used to help artists distribute their work, protect against fraud, and even assist in curating collections of art.
Artists are using AI to distribute their work more effectively and efficiently than ever before. In fact, it's one of the most common uses of AI in this field right now. Artists are using AI to identify potential buyers based on their social media activity and other factors. This allows them to tailor their marketing efforts with much more accuracy than they otherwise could achieve.
Artists can also use AI to help protect themselves from fraud by verifying the ownership of an artwork or identifying if someone else is trying to sell a piece that belongs to them exclusively. This will help prevent any disputes over who owns what works of art when something goes wrong down the line.
In order for an AI system to determine whether or not something is unique, it needs to be able to compare it with other things and determine if there are any similarities between them. This means that every time you buy or sell an NFT on a decentralized exchange (DEX), or use one as collateral for another transaction, you're relying on AI at some point in the process.
AI is also being used by curators who are interested in finding new talent every day! The system can scan through thousands of pieces at once and find those which stand out as being truly unique or interesting—even if no one else has seen them before!
What’s the future potential of AI?
Artificial intelligence is clearly a powerful tool that can be used to help solve many of the world's most pressing issues, especially in the field of medicine.
However, there are some negatives associated with AI as well. For one thing, when a computer program makes decisions based on data that is incorrect or incomplete, the result can be catastrophic. For example, if an AI algorithm was responsible for controlling self-driving cars, it could lead to accidents or even deaths if it were not properly programmed.
Another negative aspect of AI is that it could lead to job loss for workers who are replaced by robots or computers (which is why many companies are investing heavily in this technology). However, there may also be new opportunities created by AI that we haven't even thought of yet—and maybe those jobs will be better than what we had before!
While it's true that we're still at the beginning of what AI can do, it's also important to remember that we're not starting from scratch. We have been using technology for centuries and have already built many different tools that allow us to do things with machines, like driving cars or printing documents. These technologies were developed over time by people who understood how they worked—and what could go wrong if someone didn't use them properly.
But now we are using computers to make decisions for us without really understanding how they work or what could go wrong if they don't make mistakes in the right way at the right time when making those decisions. This is why it's so important for us as a society as a whole to understand what these technologies are capable of doing before we start using them more widely without fully understanding the implications!
As stated at the top of this article, it was created entirely by AI. What are your thoughts? Could you tell? Did it argue for and against AI adeptly enough? Did it grasp the questions it was being asked? Could you have written the article better?
It should be noted that the thoughts and views expressed in this piece are neither my own nor those of ZenAcademy. This was simply a fun experiment: an introduction to AI capabilities, through the use of AI itself.
Tip Of The Week - Check out CoinStats
CoinStats is one of the most popular portfolio managers on the market. In addition to portfolio tracking, they’ve introduced a new product line called CoinStats Midas.
Midas is a brand new CoinStats product aimed at helping NFT investors make better decisions. It is a one-of-a-kind monitoring tool that aggregates NFT buying activity. In doing so, it produces perceptive insights, empowering users to follow the best-performing wallets in real time. Gradually getting smarter, the algorithm leverages on-chain activity data to select the most ROI-positive wallets to follow. Users that opt-in will receive alerts about best-performing wallets’ collective NFT purchases. The program utilizes all available collecting and user preference data to reduce NFT market noise.
Reducing noise is something we’re very fond of at ZenAcademy. In an ever-evolving market that moves at lightning pace, it’s easy to get distracted, losing hours in the process. Tools such as CoinStats Midas are a step towards helping ensure we maintain a healthy balance between work and play, taking a lot of the legwork away from the user.
For more information on the product, please check out the links below:
